Privacy Policy
This policy explains how happygamejig ("we", "us", or "our") handles data in Pieceful Home: Jigsaw Puzzle (the "App", package name com.qqplaygame.jigsaw), including public and testing releases distributed through Google Play. Purchase availability depends on the version and store eligibility, as explained in section 6. Test progress may be reset between announced test releases and should not be treated as permanent progress.
1. Data we collect
When the App connects to our service, we collect the following categories:
- Game profile: a pseudonymous player identifier assigned by our service and, where supported and chosen by you, a display name. The App does not ask you to create an email/password login or provide your Google Account password.
- Device or other IDs: an installation or device identifier and related device credentials or access tokens used to recognize the installation, authenticate requests, protect the service, associate a cloud backup with the correct player, and support Tuanjie Engine platform services.
- App interactions: feature-use and gameplay interaction events, session or event timestamps, and activity refreshes.
- Other actions: gameplay state and actions needed for cloud backup and game operation, such as puzzle progress, in-game orders, furniture or room state, stamina, virtual currency and items, and activity progress.
- Diagnostics: Tuanjie Engine platform statistics may include technical information such as device hardware, operating system, App or engine version, and runtime diagnostic data.
- Build and configuration information: the App version, version code, build identifier, configuration revision and checksum, and save-data format needed to check compatibility before entering the game.
- Purchase and delivery records: Google Play Billing and Unity IAP provide product information and, when you initiate a purchase, purchase tokens or receipts, product and transaction/order identifiers, purchase status, quantity, and timestamps. Our service processes these together with your player ID, installation binding, a pseudonymous account-binding value, and reward or delivery status. This applies to both real purchases in enabled versions and Google license-test purchases. We do not receive your complete payment-card details from Google Play.
- Support information: if you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, player ID, order ID, diagnostic text, and description of the issue.
- Approximate location and IP address: our infrastructure may receive or record a source IP address for service security, abuse or fraud prevention, and operational reliability. We do not infer location from it on our own server. Tuanjie Engine platform services may use an IP address to derive an approximate country or region.
Each cold start requires a server connection for authentication, compatibility and player-data checks, and an activity snapshot before gameplay begins. Data may also be transmitted through periodic session heartbeats, cloud-backup uploads, activity refreshes, store or advertising SDK requests, or batched telemetry. Server-side records are persistent and are not limited to temporary, in-memory processing. Cloud backups do not automatically replace your current local gameplay progress.
2. Why we use the data
Our game service uses these data for:
- App functionality: device login and authentication, cloud-save backup and requested restore, maintaining gameplay state, and operating game and test features;
- Purchase verification and delivery: validating purchases with Google Play, granting purchased virtual items, retrying interrupted delivery where supported, preventing duplicate grants, and resolving purchase-related support issues;
- Analytics: understanding feature use, gameplay and test progress, and technical diagnostics so we can improve the App; and
- Fraud prevention, security, and compliance: protecting credentials and backups, detecting abuse or anomalous requests, maintaining service integrity, and meeting applicable obligations.
We do not use our gameplay-backup or support records to build advertising audiences. Advertising SDK processing, including processing during test-ad requests, is described separately below.
3. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell user data. We use the providers below to operate the App; their SDKs may receive data directly from your device.
Our API and storage are hosted on Alibaba Cloud, which acts as our infrastructure service provider for hosting, storage, security, and service operation.
The App is built with Tuanjie Engine. Its Android platform services may automatically transmit device or other identifiers, diagnostics, and IP-derived approximate location to Tuanjie Engine's provider, Unity China (Yousandi Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.), for App functionality and analytics. See the Unity China privacy policy and the Tuanjie Engine Google Play data-safety guidance.
Google Play Billing and Unity IAP: these services support store product information and purchase integration. Google handles the payment method and its own transaction records. The App sends a pseudonymous account-binding value to Google Play to associate the purchase with the correct game profile. Purchase tokens or receipts are sent to our service, which queries Google Play to verify the purchase before authorizing delivery. We retain necessary purchase-verification and delivery records, not your complete bank-card details. See Google's privacy policy and Unity's privacy policy.
Google Mobile Ads: the rewarded-ad SDK may collect and share IP addresses, advertising or app-set identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising delivery or testing, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate general location. Test ad units do not mean that no SDK data is transmitted. See Google Mobile Ads data-disclosure guidance. Advertising ID controls are available in Android settings.
Advertising privacy and consent: the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check consent status and present applicable privacy messages. The SDK processes the information needed to determine which message or privacy options apply and records your choices. The App checks whether ads may be requested before loading ads. Available privacy controls are described in section 7.
4. Security
Data sent between the App and our service is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We also use authentication controls, restricted server access, and operational safeguards to protect game, purchase, and support records. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain game profiles, backups, purchase and delivery records, and operational records while needed to provide the service, verify and deliver purchases, investigate problems, protect the service, or meet applicable obligations. During testing, an explicitly approved reset may start a new save-data generation; earlier test progress is not carried into that generation. A reset does not imply that all restricted recovery copies, purchase records, or provider-held records have been immediately erased.
Recovery backups are access-restricted and handled through an operator-managed retention and removal process. They are not used as active player progress after a test reset. Necessary transaction or audit records may be retained for fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, or legal reasons and are limited to those purposes. Google manages its own payment and account records under its policies.
Deletion requests: email qinqijay@gmail.com with the App name and your player ID shown in Settings. We may need to verify that you control the profile before acting. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents in your request. We will explain any information that cannot yet be deleted and why. Uninstalling the App stops future App transmissions from that installation, but does not by itself delete records already stored on our server or by Google.
6. Purchases and advertising
In versions where real-money purchases are enabled, purchases of virtual items are processed through Google Play Billing. Availability depends on the App version and Google Play product, account, and regional eligibility. Google Play shows the price, currency, and payment method before you confirm a purchase. Test-only versions do not enable real-money purchases.
Eligible Google license testers may instead receive a checkout explicitly marked as a test purchase. Adding an account to an App testing track alone does not mean every purchase is free; check the Google Play checkout before confirming. Both real and test purchase records are processed for verification, delivery, and duplicate-delivery prevention as described above.
The current rewarded-ad integration uses Google's official test ad units, not live advertising units. Test advertising and real-money purchase availability are separate settings. Using test ads does not remove the SDK data processing described in section 3. Before enabling live advertising or materially different data practices, we will update this policy where needed and the relevant App and Google Play disclosures.
7. Your choices
The App requires the server communication described in section 1 to operate and does not provide a separate switch to disable those essential uploads while continuing to play. You may stop future App transmissions by no longer using or by uninstalling the App, subject to the retention process described above. You may request access to or deletion of your data using the contact details in section 5.
Privacy choices: when Google's UMP SDK indicates that a privacy-options entry is required, the App shows a Privacy choices entry in Settings so you can reopen the available privacy form and change your selections. Its availability and options depend on the SDK's consent status and applicable region. You can also manage the advertising ID through your Android settings. Changing advertising choices does not delete existing game or purchase records.
Ad diagnostics: in versions where this Settings entry is available, selecting it copies technical advertising-status information to your clipboard and attempts to open Google's Ad Inspector. You choose whether to send the copied text to support. Opening this tool may involve communication with Google's advertising services.
8. Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in the App and Google Play disclosures as required before the changed practice begins.
